Mntungwa Engineering and Mining Construction (Pty) Ltd, trading as MEMCG, was established in 2024 by its founder and owner, Mr. N. Khumalo.
The idea of opening the business originated from Mr. Khumalo’s extensive experience and growth in the Steel Construction, Fabrication, and Engineering Industry over many years. This wealth of knowledge and expertise laid the foundation for MEMCG’s vision to provide exceptional engineering and construction solutions.
With a proven track record of success, Mr. Khumalo brings over eight years of executive experience to MEMCG. His extensive background in the industry has equipped him with the expertise and vision to drive the company’s growth and success.
Since its inception, MEMCG has been committed to delivering exceptional engineering and construction solutions, fostering long-term relationships with clients, and contributing to the development of the communities it serves.
At present Mntungwa Engineering and Mining Construction (Pty) Ltd employs 08 people and owns 04 vehicles, fully equipped with all mining regulations and work tools. MEMCG occupies a 1000m² workshop and 1170m² total area, capable of doing Engineering and Fabrication. Site Division can do any Fabrication, Construction, Projects, Engineering and Rigging on any site.

Nkosikhona khumalo
CEO & Product Architec
Nkosikhona Khumalo is a South African professional with a diverse background in the mining and engineering industry. With 10 years of experience, he has successfully held various positions, showcasing his versatility and expertise.
Throughout his career, Nkosikhona has excelled as a Structural Engineer, Miner, Chief Surveyor, Survey & Planning Manager, and Planning Engineer specializing in drill and blast operations in opencast environments. His extensive knowledge and skills have been honed through his work in both metalliferous and coal mines.
Notably, Nkosikhona has contributed his talents to renowned mining companies such as Bank Colliery, Rietspruit and Klipspruit, Optimum Coal Holdings, and Arnot Coal, which is a subsidiary of Exxaro. He has also served as a Technical Services Manager and has acted as a Mine Manager in underground and opencast coal mines.
Currently, Nkosikhona serves as the Director of Mntungwa Engineering and Mining Construction (Pty) Ltd., trading as MEMCG. In this capacity, he brings his wealth of experience and visionary leadership to drive the company’s success and deliver exceptional products and services.
With a proven track record and a passion for innovation, Nkosikhona Khumalo continues to make significant contributions to the mining and engineering industry, leaving a lasting impact on the organizations he has been a part of.
